The Good in Goodluck Jonathan!
His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a history maker whose story will never be forgotten in a long time.
Its no news that …..
Political calculations that remain a puzzle to the masses brought him as the Vice- President of the country in 2007, and as his fate usually has, unfortunately death this time took his boss and he became the president.
However, following his mode of entry into power, Goodluck Jonathan is viewed at least by the populace has a gentle, passive individual who is just a recipient of luck thrown at his doorstep. This may be true but not totally.
Researches by scientists, religious sermons and even atheists ideas have suggested to us that we humans are the creators of our fate. A reader of this article will ask, where am I going to?
Goodluck Jonathan has never been found performing acts that are disloyal to his boss nor his party or country, he has always been diligent and obedient.
Howver, he has been a recipient of the products of his good thoughts of becoming a leader and of being at the right place at the right time.
Like every powerful person must have learnt or will be taught in order to remain in power. The power of communication, thriving on masses sympathy or likeness. Jonathan is a master seducer.
He did no evil to become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria but to remain and elongate his stay in power (who does not like power?) come 2011; he needs to face the political and ethnic barriers before him.
Goodluck Jonathan has no political structure and thus it’s a ‘Herculean’ task setting up a political machinery to ensure his stay in 2011. However, in politics with strong backbone led by a Godfather, anything is possible. This is a role the power loving and ever adaptable Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is ready to play.
Probably learnt the power of online medium in getting the attention, sympathy and love of the youths and general populace. Jonathan has proved to be a skilled person in this, thus his recent opening of facebook account and announcing publicly that he personally manages, updates and posts on the account.
‘The lifting of the 2 years ban on the Nations Football body is a result of pressures from facebook fan’ this is stroking of our ego.
We are not against you stroking our ego but please let us feel real positive developments in Nigeria.

The ten Russian spies being caught in US and sent to Russia were swapped with four western spies in Russia. And the United States Vice President says its not a risk to US and smiling that the spies have been noticed for long and were being monitored.
Its now clear that spies are everywhere and our leaders are users of their services and are comfortable this.
